Timey’s case is about 1/2 of Metal Straw’s body’s length (limbs not included) and MS’s body’s width is about 1/3-1/2 of Timey’s case width (not strict on that.)
Timey’s hammer (the metal part on the top of an alarm clock that hits the bells in the morning) does not work.
Timey is a lot heavier than Metal Straw is due to not being hollow.
When mentally and physically well, Timey displays an accurate time. When mentally and/or physically unwell, beep is more likely to display inaccurately.
Timey was born into a family of clocks, a mother, Pink Alarm Clock, a father, Analog, and an older brother, Pink Clock. When Timey ~6-7, their mother and older brother left to live elsewhere, while Timey decided to stay with Analog.
Coming from a well-known family Analog held Timey to a high standard, lecturing beep if beep wasn't presenting the correct time. He was good friends with the mayor, Mayor Necktie, so naturally, Timey had time to become friends with the mayor's daughter, Bowtie. There was a point in a summer camp which the two briefly dated, but this was temporary, and Timey was scolded about it once beep was sent home.
Although they didn't know why, Timey struggled socially in school, spending a lot of their childhood a bit shy and asocial. When Timey got closer to Gear, beep began to feel more confident in themself and started trying to figure out their identity, eventually discovering they were non-binary. Although Gear accepted them, beeps other friend, Football, was critical of it. Analog was also disapproving.
At some point near high school the clock dropped out of school when beep began struggling and failing classes. Homeschooling didn't work either. After a lecture about how they needed to get a job, Timey set up a lemonade stand, which lead to them meeting Metal Straw. Beep felt determined to befriend the straw.
Metal Straw was secretive initially, but eventually became more comfortable sharing things with the clock, and the two gradually grew closer, until eventually agreeing to date, in some way they considered "between romantic and platonic."
At some point Metal Straw went to prison for crimes, so Timey used beeps dad's money to bail them out. Analog was not happy about this, and sent Timey to live on an abandoned campsite area he owned, giving them the responsibility of it.
Shortly later, Timey hosted an object camp, "Timey's Fun Object Camp," which caused a level of tension between them and Metal Straw (among other things). During this time, Timey also finds/meets Timey, assuming a caretaker position in relation to him. Eventually, after their cabin burns down, and Timey assumes Metal Straw must've done it out of spite, Timey ends up throwing MS into a frozen lake out of bitterness and for a challenge.
Timey and Boxey end up being kidnapped as the challenge takes place, by Top Hat's henchman, Floating Crown. Top Hat manipulates/tricks Timey into partaking in unethical, transformative experiments, gradually leading to the clock no longer enjoying his company. Eventually, Boxey helps Timey escape, staying behind.
Timey reunites with Metal Straw after ~5 months in the lab, but is hesitant to tell them what had happened. The two establish boundaries and gradually start to improve their relationship (though not without some struggle).
When the two are older, they start a family, along with Gear. They have a son, Weighty. Everything on is a WIP.
